I'm about to go for a 1 hour massage that cost $110. It was given to me as a gift (I wouldn't of been able to afford that right now). I'm pretty tight on money, I want to tip but if I tip 20% (which I normally do at restaurants) that would be over $20 which I really don't have to spare. Like I said, the massage is a gift and I don't have budget for luxuries at the moment. What is a reasonable tip for a 1 hour massage? I understand that this is part of the therapists income so don't want to be too stingy..

I would say $8 or $9 sounds good, right? once you start getting into double digits it's kind of like an extra price or something and just ridiculous 
The usual standard on tipping for getting a massage is 15~20%...20% is the "norm" when you are getting an exceptional massage at luxury hotels such as Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons and so forth.
You'll be fine with tipping $20, if the experience was great. If not, give less.
