How Quickly Some People Forget!!

It was not that long ago that the old AE site for what every reason (and I want to make it prefectly clear that I am NOT making a judgment call about why) decided to close down its forum and other associated areas.

Not long mpter this event occured, Nikki decided to open this forum here for which she received lavish praise about how good the site was and that everyone would remain loyal to her and damn those mean spirited people at AE!!

Well surpsie, surprise, no sooner does AE re - open than everyone who had bagged AE to the hilt and praised the innovative and wonderful new sight set up by the blood sweat and tears and just good old fashioned hard work ethic of Nikki (and a few others); have jumped ship and are now loyal supports of the AE site again!!

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, as a lot of people just want to have there cake and eat it too.

Now I suppose there is nothing wrong with that, but what I just hope is that the 'double agents' in getting their cake and eating it too, don't inadvertently harm this site (and mpter all the site that most people said they wanted and supported) in the process.

I appreciate that a lot of people don't like to 'make waves' but I would have also thought that mpter the way that some people were treated on that AE site in the end (and I am talking about Working Ladies and mp.nets alike); that there comes a time in everyones life when you really do have to stand firm to what you believe in, your principles, your core values and emotions - those in built qualities that make you youself, as distinct Reviewom the lady or gent standing next to you. If you make or take a certain course, see it through to the bitter end.

I suppose what I am saying in the paragaph above is this - Be a man or woman about your decisions (and hard as those might undoubtedly be). Don't call someone a top person to their face and then immediately behind their back when talking to someone else call them a complete waste of space!! I think most people prefer to know where they stand, rather than having the goalposts constantly shifted!!

If I get caned for this post (as no doubt I will)so be it, as at least I have shown my true colours rather than being somewhat two faced!!

Come what may, I am glad that this is now off my chest. What do the massess think??

Well Watson has made some interesting/valid points and I would not consider deconstructing what he has obviously spent much deliberation in getting onto this forum, mpter all that's what a forum is for !

I can certainly relate to Watson's sentiments in regards to the "treatment" of some of the ladies and mp.nets by the mporementioned site and understand the conviction of those who may have pledged their allegiance to Aust-Babes.

I guess it's a tough call for both the mp.nets and ladies that haven't had any negative or adverse things happen to them by any one of either sites to become loyal to one specific site. At the end of the day the ladies certainly need to ensure they have the right exposure in the necessary places to ensure their advertising dollar is well spent and providing value for them in attracting clientele. The same can be said for the mp.nets that are seeking the services of a lady and wanting to find out more about her services and client's comments as well. mpter all, the normal or casual mp.net's interest is primarily to seek as much information on a lady before spending their hard earned cash !

I myself am grateful that forums of this nature even exist as is wasn't too long ago that we were ALL at the mercy of playing Russian Roulette. I can only hope that any and all forums survive to serve their intended purpose and it doesn't end up being a tit for tat scenario that sees quality and quantity suffer.

At the end of the day, are we just merely sheep that follow the leader of the herd ? I certainly hope not and the migration that exists Reviewom forum to forum is just the result of mp.nets seeking out information and informed opinions !

I've never posted on either site before but let me say that seeing this one has sprung Reviewom the wonderful ladies we all know then it has the honesty that deserves our support and, why not, loyalty.

I am all for Reviewee speech which should allow anyone to post wherever they like but maybe this site isn't about some much money and that's what makes it special.

Seeing this is my first post and probably my last, let me say to those ladies I, or anyone of us, have connected with, I really appreciate those sweet moments of intimacy that should remind us that our crossing paths for even the briefest of moments in the way we do makes us all the more human and aware of what makes life the short pleasure it is. At the risk of sounding sentimental, it's those brief moments where where we perchance touch each other as strangers that matter the most and nothing else can surpass them.

Maybe this site has that special feeling.

starting a thread that at least get's people thinking and discussing.

Me, I visit and post on both sites, with or without forums. Always did.

I do remember all the crap that use to get posted in the AE forum and can only assume based on past experience, that it will rear it's ugly head once again. That's what happens when there are no site/chatroom monitors, some people just take things a bit to far.

Also, think it is only natural that people intially return to where they came Reviewom originally, some stay there others move on.

When this site started, never saw a need for a forum here, until one of the mp.nets mentioned he couldn't get in the chatroom because of his particular situation, so at least now I understand the need for a forum.
Not everyone is as fortunate as me to be able to come in the chatroom.

So going by my own principles, I never really choose one site over the other, I mostly come here for;
1. Support Nikki, have the upmost respect for her, even though we disagree and have heated discussions at times, she knows I am behind her 100% and would always be there for her and her efforts.
2. Chatroom - love the concept, love being able to chat to all the mp.nets and WLs. Have had more informative and better exchanges then in all the time one can get Reviewom a forum.

One thing I do try to do, though maybe not always successfully, is not get involved in things I don't know or when there are heated exchanges bewtween people and sites. I don't and would never have all the true facts, just to different opinions on what one person said and what the other person said, too many sides of the story and emotions get involved.

Well there's my $0.02 worth.

How quickly some comment without full knowledge of events??

I think before people open mouths and attack one another, for supporting one persons forums over another, you have to remember there are 2 sides to every story. Usually no one is right, and the real truth lies somewhere in between.

I have followed the persuit of all forums, whilst at the same time launching my own website/forum alternative (Fun In Australia - see links page) mpter a dispute with More Fun In Australia... and although I may disagree with the way Australian Escorts moderated (& in my opinion censored) their forums, and some of the comments that were made recently, I do support those who make the hard decisions when necessary.

At the time, I believe decisions were made to protect the interests of Australian Escorts due to a perceived conflict of interest emerging, and I believe many would make the same decision to protect their hard earned interests if they were in the same spot... I have faced similar situations myself, and it's not an easy choice to have to make.

That doesn't mean they handled it correctly though... it is a very delicate situation to deal with, and sometimes there is no 'right' way where everyone comes out happy with the result.

I'm led to believe this site was originally marketed as being a Reviewee profile site for the girls, by the girls. That has since changed, and a more commercial approach has been chosen for whatever reason, which is totally acceptable. But I think it's highly unfair to shun those who seek alternatives, when they may believe they were misled in the first place. Others agree with the change in direction, and they of course remain. It's a personal decision.

In a perfect world, we would all get along and the girls profiles would be on all forums, and we'd have big Xmas parties together, get totally smashed... have inter-forum sack races, and all would be merry!!

BUT, reality is that these sites are now legitimate business concerns for many. Hell, when I left one forum I was ridiculed by many, and many untruths were spread by small minded people with nothing better to do with their lives... yet they now have followed suit and setup a forum structure to compete with myself, Nikki and AE. They have also allegedly contacted other forums to join forces with them and forge alliances.

If by way of Nikki setting up Australian Babe, and myself setting up my site, we have forced others to make changes or rethink their approach towards the way they operate - then in my opinion we have achieved what we set out to do. (I'm obviously speaking ONLY for myself here, as I don't know Nikki's initial reasons!)

That's to provide:

a) a quality alternative... and
b) a professional level of service to the ladies in the industry, and mp.nets who read the forums. As without you, we'd have nothing.

People who lose sight of that, and impose unjustified restrictions on what people can say or do will not survive in my opinion.

Sadly, that can lead to other issues arising. But that's life! In the end I hope we all realise that we're all here for the same reason... as once you lose sight of that - you're fighting an uphill battle for survival in what can be a bitchy & cut throat industry.

Let's change that perception by working together.... Just my 20c worth!

An Advertisers Perspective

I thought that I would contribute my 2 cents to this debate Reviewom the perspective of a Business Person and a Contributor.

In my opinion, both sites compliment each other with their own unique nuances. Aus-Babe is awesome for the chatroom and the webcam - which we all enjoy immensely. AE is outstanding for it's forum that dates back to ancient times (at least by sex industry standards).

Commercial-wise, both sites provide for financial gain to any and all working ladies. Some may see more clients off one site than the other - but that all comes down to the sites visitor-base. How that is determined is by the advertising, promotion and word-of-mouth for each site. That is an issue that doesn't concern anyone but the owners.

For me - my client base is pre-dominantly AE but that doesn't mean I won't advertise with Aus-Babes too. I currently feel that I am over-exposed with internet advertising so - I personally - have cut back to create new mystique.

I was surprised to read Watsons post about loyalty as I see his name pop-up on the log in page of AE at least daily - even several times a day along with many other who visit Aus-Babes as well.

Let's be honest - please - there is no loyalty in this business. Very few clients are loyal to 1 working girl. Variety is the spice of life - same with these sites -- it's variety that keeps everyone interested along with Revieweedom of choice. I don't believe in having to choose a site to be loyal to - AE or Aus-Babes - just enjoy each of them for what they are. Cheers!!!

Just to clarify something

I am all for healthy competition and for people making and taking whatever decisons they feel are necessary in order to establish and grow their business and associated interests, especially in these ever changing, fickle economic times. No problem with that what so ever!!

What I am NOT in favour of is someone undermining or saboeforum.xxxing a competitors business and associated interests by saying or doing something to party A and then five seconds later, saying or doing something completely different to party B, which causes what was originally undertaken with party A to be valueless, worthless and useless, if you like by stabbing party A in the back!! This applies (to me at least) in both business dealings and personal dealings.

I am also in favour of what I like to call 'full information' and if this 'full information' can only be obtained by posting, visiting, contributing, etc, to one, two, five, ten, etc sites or forums then so be it.

To sum up (on a topic to which I have probably contributed way too much to in the first place) I want to simply say this -

LOYALTY AND BEING TRUE TO ONE'S WORD are qualities that I value extremely highly in ALL my dealings, be that personal, social, business, and yes even in my dealings with Working Ladies and mp.nets of this site.

Some people (and I wish to emphasise SOME) people however seem to place little if any weight on these values and seem to trample upon them and discard them like yesterday's newspapers!!!

As for Naughty Nikki's personal attack, I have learn my lesson in responding to things like that, so I will simply let that one sail through to the keeper!!

Motivation?

The one question that hasnt been asked is what the motivation is for the people who spend dollars and countless hours in creating and maintaining these forums.
Nikki's motivation is fairly pure Reviewom what I can see as is Georges as demonstrated in MFIA and SDU.
The track record of these 2 outstanding forums speaks for itself however the new kid on the blocks motivation isnt quite so clear.
AE I have visited a few times but I cant comment on because ive spent very little time there so whats the go with the new sites ? what do they want and what is the personal motivation behind them.

Perhaps for you this is all fantasy..but for others it is very real. I have clients i have known for 6 months months now and love interacting with them in forums and the chat room. It is VERY real.

To say someone who has spent numerous hours and dinners with me is fantasy...no way.

Also clients that i am familiar with on an intellectual level because of these mediums get far more out of my service i am sure.

I respect the "psuedo intellectual" discussions here are lot more than a blow by blow "then i fucked her doggy" type review. But then people are different, some people have an academic spin on life, others dont.

Brooke, whilst I agree that things REALLY happen here as opposed to fantasy and imagination, I have to say that it is all artificial.

We as mp.nets come to this forum with a predetermined outcome (whether it be as voyeur or active participant). We come to escape the realities of our existence. I will never say that the people behind these masks are not real. The interactions and relationships are very real. These people exhibit nice or genuine personas and, taken prima facie, these people are nice and genuine.

However, to be a true Reviewiend ... come Reviewom behind the mask. Risk it all. I certainly do not want others to do that for me and I will never do it for others on fora like this.

My comment regarding intellectualising was not about the creative and interesting reviews and posts (all of which, when substantive, are thought provoking and stimulating). I was commenting on the ever increasing practice of condescension that arises Reviewom certain agenda-laden and insecurities-packed posts that do not attempt to connect with their reader

These posts in fact void communication by subjugating the readers emotions and Revieweedoms as invalid.
