How to become a massage therapist?

I'm deciding what to be when I grow up. I'm 16, a sophomore in high school. I'm thinking about being a massage therapist. Could you answer some questions if you know about it?

1. How many years of college will it take to be a massage therapist?
2. What classes will I have to take?
3. What is the pay?

you dont go to a real college and like "major" in massage therapy. You go to a massage therapy school and you go through the training and then youre done. It takes like 6 months.

you get paid like crap. dont do it. Go to real college if you have the opportunity to and get a real job.

You're 16 years old and can make lots of decision that will impact your life. Massage school isn't long like going to a common college. Every state has its own law in relation to "Massage therapist". The pay very much depends also where you work. If you work with a chiropractor in New York city , you will gain more than working for a doctor in Dallas, Texas, but life is cheaper in Dallas.

Go on line and access some of the massage therapy schools in your area. They will provide you with brochures and class listings as well as the cost. They will also provide you with a listing of instructors.
