How to catch a taxi from Suvarnabhumi airport to Mo Chit bus terminal?

We are going on a holiday & would like to know the above question & the approx. cost.

After you leave the customs area, you go straight through the main hall exit out the door and the taxi stand is on the right. The fare including the 50 baht airport fee and the tolls should be about 400 baht. Don't listen to the touts in the main hall. When you get outside say Taxi meter (or someone will ask you) make sure it is a metered taxi.

You want Mo Chit Song (terminal two)(?????????) as Mo Chit Neung (terminal one) is for the local buses. Also be aware that there is not a lot of English spoken at the terminal. The first floor has buses to the North (Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai etc...) and the third floor has buses to the Northeast Udon, Nong Khai, Sakon Nakhorn, Mukdahan etc..).

There is a information desk in the center of the room on both floors but the touts at the bus station will direct you to the right counter. You probably want a bus gow, gow,gow (999) or VIP as they are the better class of bus and air conditioned.

Just get a taxi from the taxi stand at the airport. It's a fair distance to the Mo Chit Bus Terminal but taxis are relatively cheap and should cost around 400-450 Baht or so including the 50 Baht airport surcharge and tollway fees.

Some more info for you. Taxi stand is on the ground floor, in front of the terminal. Taxi is easiest way.

But What time you will arrive? If it's BKK rush hour during 4-9pm. Then cars takes approx 1.5 hr or more depend on traffic. Be careful! I would sugguest other way (just in case), a bit more complicate but faster connection. When you arrive try airport rail link (station is undergroud fl.) City Line from airport to payathai station (20 mins). Then connect with Sky train Phayathai Station to Mo-chit, 10mins (end station). From there take bus or taxi to Mochit Bus Terminal, takes approx 15 mins.
