How to Introduce a Dog to a Rabbit?

So me and my bestie are planning a day at the park tomorrow for us to introduce our pets to eachother. She has the friendliesst, most energetic Japanese Chin dog and I have a cuddly and friendly Rex Rabbit. I'm wondering if there is a certain manner in which we should introduce them. I'm a little nervous that her dog may get toooo excited and possibly scare my bunny.. but she is a happy dog and would never hurt anyone.
So, how do you introduce a dog to a rabbit?
BTW, the dog is a baby and is only a little bigger than my rabbit who is 4 years old

This could be a little scary, but the best way to introduce your pets is by sitting a few feet from one another put your pet rabbit on the grass and the Japanese Chin on a leash and carefully watch for the dog's exitement towards your bunny if the dogs becomes aggresive turn him around and distract him from your bunny's sight. It may take a few attemps. On the other hand if the dog seems curious, but not aggresive take a few steps closer to one another, remember to praise the good positive behaivors. Japanese Chin dogs are known as great companion dogs they love to be the center of attention just whatch out for jealousy which causes them to snap. Just let them sniff each other. The dog should be on a leash and you should have your rabbit on a harness or even better, in your arms. Let them sniff each other and if everything goes okay, put your rabbit down and see how the dog reacts. I have a Shih-Tzu which is fairly close to a Japanese Chin, and my Shih-Tzu paws at, barks at, and chases my rabbits. Small, yappy dogs like Japanese Chins and Shih-Tzus aren't very compatible with rabbits. My dog isn't trying to hurt my rabbits, he just wants to play, and seeing as you said the dog is energetic, it will probably do the same. All in all, I wouldn't recommend even going along with these plans, but I guess I let you know what you need to know if you're determined to introduce them.

Put the rabbit in a room with all the doors locked, and have the dog just get use to the smell of the rabbit. Do that for about a hour, than put your rabbit into a cage and put the dog into the room where the rabbit was. Than after your dog recognizes the smell hold your rabbit and just let the dog sniff it. They shouldn't be scared of eachother
