How to introduce fetishes into a relationship?

So, I went out with a girl on a first date and it went pretty well. We went back to her place where we cuddled and kissed. We are pretty comfortable with each other so I just mentioned that I do have a few extra "things" that turn me on. She was curious and so I told her one of my fetishes - "tickling".

When I said that, she was kind of despondent and said "oh, that's not bad" (I don't think she's into anything kinky, herself, though). But she didn't tease me or sort of open the door for me like I had hoped. So, I'm not sure if she would be open to it or not, and I don't want to just try and go for it if she isn't comfortable.

I would really like to get some feathers and maybe just run them up and down her underarms for a few minutes just to see how she reacts - nothing crazy like tickle torture (at least not yet )

How should I go about asking her or implying to her that I would really like to do this? And this doesn't have to be anytime soon, since I know we had only a first date. But sometime down the line maybe a few weeks, or so.
