How to introduce mother dog & puppies to resident puppy?

I just rescued a dog with her 6 puppies (about 4 weeks old) and I brought them home. AT home, I have my 14 weeks old puppy. He's acting very nervous since he saw the mom and puppies. Every time he tries to come close she growls. She's not allowing him to come near the food or water, she even ate his food, but when he reaches her from behind and starts sniffing her end, she's ok. Is it dangerous to leave my puppy with her? What's the way to introduce them properly? And how long she's going to be defensive like this?

I rescued this dog and her puppies from the street!!! they were thrown out in the street by some (..........) I had to do some thing so I took them, gave them food, water and a place to stay! So, if any one can help by giving some advice that's fine, if not, just ignore my question.

Yes it is dangerous. Don't let the your pup near her or her puppies. She will kill (or try to) if she feels threatened by him, She will be defensive as long as she is with the pups. At 8-10 weeks they most likely will be leaving for new homes. If you keep one, then is the time for introductions.
