How to introduce myself to him?

Every Thursday when I go down the main stairwell, I see this boy standing in the hallway chatting with his friends, outside one of the chemistry rooms. I think he is absolutely adorable! I'm dying to talk to him, I have such a little crush on him, but I just can't. If I could find any reason to approach him I readily would have. But we seem to have no mutual friends, none of the same classes, or seemingly even in the same year. How can I make an excuse to introduce myself if we have no basis for any sort of communication?

Be dramatic.

Figure out a way to make yourself pass out or throw up or something on the spot, or get a seizure, and make sure it happens when you're walking past his group.
Oooor... Get a case of beer and walk around with it, walk up to them and say 'Do you guys want this? It's left over after a party I went to just then and I don't know what to do with it'. Then work your way up from there. Try having a drink with them too. Even if you hate beer! Or make it something like Southern Comfort or something.

Lol you can comment on how you alway see him in the same spot and spark a conversation, then continue by asking his name and what he studies. Or you could do something like bring a wrist watch walk with the worng time and ask him to help you change the time since you have trouble with the dial, i know it sounds stupid but I did that with a few girls in the library, but then again it was a rolex and would spark another conversation on how nice it is. DO something unique

Ah this is exactly how I was a year ago Just go up to him and say hi. Don't be a wussy like i was or you'll deeply regret it later on.
