I'm getting a Norwegian Elkhound puppy on Saturday and I have a 2 year old Ragdoll cat who hates dogs. I know she hates dogs because she would hiss at the neighbors dog in our backyard and at other various animals that come by there. I don't want her to hiss at my new puppy so I'm looking for advice on how to make her comfortable with the new dog asap. The dog already has experience with cats so I'm not worried about his side of things, just from the cats perspective.
