How to introduce yourself to someone random on facebook?

So i was looking at some matrimonial websites and saw a few people i would be interested in (but to contact someone you need to pay a high membership fee) anyhow i found 2 of those people on Facebook and would like to talk to them. How should i go about introducing myself?
that's what i'm saying, i did try those sites but you have to pay, so if you know those people are on facebook, why not just contact them there instead.

It's quite simple: you don't.
Instead of say, going off and trying to meet people on Facebook, go off and try to meet people somewhere else, like in real life. However, if you're set on using the internet, there's always eHarmony and its competing sites.

The reason you don't randomly introduce yourself to people on Facebook is the same reason you don't randomly introduce yourself to people while stopped at a red light: your conversation is going nowhere because conditions are nowhere near ideal.
