Jitana, you start at the top of the calf and use strokes that are moving upwards. Slowly work your way down the leg always using strokes that are pushing the fluid upwards. Continue to work your way down the leg until you get to the toes. As you are doing this use strokes that are not too deep. Finish the strokes by making sure that that are always moving upward. When you get to the toes do some finishing strokes from the toes all the way up to the knee. This will help to move as much fluid out of the ankle as possible. When doing the massage try to keep the foot up as high as possible. When finished let the ankle stay in that higher position.
