How would i introduce clicker training to my new GSD puppy?

i want to start my puppy on the clicker training... but how do i get him to know that clicker= treat?
ive seen some videos but they don't really help

Easy!
Grab a handful of TINY treats. (Like the size of cat treats).
Click then give a treat. Repeat until treats are gone. If you dog has half a brain he'll have figured it out by then.

You do what is called charge the clicker all it is click the clicker and give a pea sized treat within three seconds in the charging stage your dog doesn't have to do anything other than eat the reward repeat ten time or so. You will want to do this every time you start till your dog know that that clicker sound means the dog did something correct and a treat is coming.

To Ken the clicker is a tool that probably cost less than $5 bucks so yes that is a con and a scam no one gets anything over on you. Look in dog training people get emotional, frustrated and these emotions come out in our voices and dogs pick up on these things. So the clicker can't get mad or make any other sound other than a click it is also more surgical than the voice you can capture a split second of a behaviour way more clearly to the dog than you can with your voice and with saying yes.
Science proved it is 30% faster in marker training compared with using your voice. To anyone that thinks the clicker is just too much money use a ball point pen that clicks that works, some people also make clicking noises with there tongue.

Don't waste your time.
clicker training is a big con, to get gullible dog-owners to go and buy a useless unecessary clicker.
It's all just about making the dog associate a noise with a reward.

All the clicker does is make a sound. You can use any sound - click your tongue, snap your fingers, give a little whistle, clap your hands, or simply say "Good Dog" ... and accomplish exactly the same.
