Three Flushing women were arrested during a Huntington Station massage parlor raid Thursday afternoon, making it the third massage parlor raid in three months for the area.
According to authorities, officials conducted an investigation into illegal activities at Ruby Spa, located at 332 East Jericho Turnpike, after receiving numerous community complaints.
A raid was conducted at 2:20 p.m. and led to the arrest of 59-year-old In Sun, 61-year-old Bokim Cho and 64-year-old Young Kim.
They were all charged with unauthorized practice of a profession, which is a Class E felony under the NYS Education Law and prostitution under the New York State Penal Law.
There have been multiple massage parlor arrests in Suffolk County over the past few months:
An investigation by Town of Huntington Code Enforcement officers also led to numerous occupancy and Town Code violations at the Huntington Station location. The investigation is continuing.
The raid was conducted by Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers, Second Squad detectives, Suffolk County Police Criminal Intelligence Section detectives, Homeland Security officers and Town of Huntington Code Enforcement officers.
The women will be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Central Islip.
