I.H.M for children

Hi, i would like to know how long an indian head massage treatment should last for a child? i have been asked to do one on a child, and i know it should be shorter than an adult, i normally do 45 min on an adult,
any advise would be great

Hi Froggy. I regularly give my children IHM (aged 10 and 12). Treatment time is about 30 minutes. Any longer and their attention starts to wane and they get a bit fidgety. They really enjoy having IHM and it's excellent to do just before bedtime as they feel nice and relaxed.

When I was training, I was told by my teacher that I couldn't do IHM on my daughter (15) to practise, as her bones weren't strong enough. (I don't do IHM that hard that anyone complains, on the other hand it's not a beauty massage either!) I had to wait until she was 18???

I give my 2 boys IHM and they really chill out, I do only do a very light treatment though.
