i have 1 parakeet. and am getting a second, how do i introduce him?

the story with the first one was my neighbor ,shes 6, got a male parakeet and she had it for a month when she told her mom that he was to noisy and didn't want him. so knowing that i love birds she asked if i wanted him. so i took him and bonded and trained him but now that schools starting i can't be with him all day so i need to get him a friend. how do i introduce him to my other bird?

if your parakeet is already tame (the one you have) and dont want it to become untamed, then buy the other one put it in a different cage and train the new one until you have it bonded with you then put the cages together and after a while you can put them together. 2 is better than one my friends budgie is plucking his feathers because she just started school and cant be with it. hope I helped

put them in separate cages, but close to each other. After a while if they start chirping and you see them want to be together, introduce them to a cage together. Trust me, it works
