I have a big crush on my Massage Therapist. Would it be appropriate to ask her out

on a date? How? I recently started seeing a new Massage Therapist and have had four or five sessions with her. I find myself extremely attracted to her. She shares my same sense of humour and is extremely friendly. We joke around all the time. Would it be appropriate to ask her out on a date? If yes, how? Or am I just living in a fantasy world? Is her answer a guaranteed 'no' simply because I am her patient? Has anyone out there tried asking out their physician, dentist, etc.? Any advice is much appreciated.

Asking her out puts her in an awkward position regarding professional boundaries. Massage therapists are taught that they must end a profession relationship with a client if they begin a personal relationship with him/her.

it is pretty risky, because her job is to make you feel comfortable, therefore it is hard to tell whether she is really into you or if it is just her doing her job. but if you do id probably say something about battlestar to start off
