"I haven't washed my hair because..."

Aaaarrgghhhh!

Does anyone else find that people often say just as they sit down for their treatment "I didn't wash my hair today because I knew I was going to have oil put in it when I came here" I find this so annoying.That's like going to a swimming pool and saying"I didn't bother having a shower today because I knew I was going to get wet when I went swimming"! Or even worse...."I didn't bother going to the toilet before I got in the pool because I could do it in there to save me the trouble" [sm=banghead.gif]

It doesn't seem to matter whether you tell them they don't have to have oils applied if they don't want to (I always ask before the treatment whether they want oils on the scalp/face) ...or even if you tell them that it's better for their hair if they wash it before a treatment but then leave it overnight to sink in. ...they still say it!

Anyone else noticed this?

im no expert but it does seem like common sense to me that you make sure youre clean before going for any sort of treatment
i know when i have beenbooked into have a massage i always had a good clean up before hand! (especially the feet)
i remember on one occassion i was about 10 mins late for a session because i just HAD to make sure id cleaned myself before hand... i did apologise for being late and tell her the reason and she said thats fine i wish some other people had the same thinking!
