I introduced my male guinea pigs and I'm wondering if they really like eachother?

Its the third day now and my older guinea pig Bubba is still rumble-strutting (or whatever its called) and his hairs are rased up. He is scent marking all over. I am wondering if Bubba would have been happier as a single guinea pig (he was alone almost his whole life, he's 2 now). I'm just so worried they are not going to bond. When have them out for play Bubba raises his hairs and scent marks, and the younger one Mocha just sits there!! Are they ever going to bond??
I understand hes territorial because i brought a new piggie into his home and hes been alone his whole life, but i am afraid hes never going to be happy with the new piggie... it seems like the new guy is just a nuisance to him.

By now they should of bonded already if they were ever going to. make sure that if there is tension around them you have to keep a close eye on them because guinea pigs can get violent. if he has been alone for 2 years then he won't be able to cope with being with others. he is used to having everything to him self and now he all of a sudden has to share he probably won't like that idea.

If you have had Bubba for his whole life, and he has been alone for his whole life, there isn't a big chance on them bonding, but maybe there is!
I have a class pet called Snowball, he is a male and he has been alone all his life apart from one mate who died.
A few days ago I introduced him to my very, very timid 1 year olf guinea pig who is 1 year old and also male.
They get along.

So it really depends if the guinea pig likes the other one or not.

Have you had Bubba his whole life? If so, he basically had his own space for 2 whole years. You brought another guinea pig into HIS home and now he's being territorial.

Imagine if you lived in your house by yourself for 2 years. Then all of a sudden you had some stranger living in your house... that's probably how Bubba feels.
