I introduced this guy I like to another friend and now they are a thing...?

Alright so being 18 and really sick of trying to find people in my everyday life to be with, I turned to online dating websites. I met this nice guy (lets call him Jake) who said he was actually 16, which was fine with me. His family makes it really hard to see each other as his parents are anti-gay. I told another one of my gay friends (Joe) about him and how much I liked Jake. When Jake found out Joe knew he panicked. I told Joe to pretend I told him nothing and he said he would erase it from his mind. A few days later I felt even closer to Jake when suddenly I am told Joe contacted him and they were actually getting along fine. That's great! I am so glad he felt comfortable enough to talk with Joe. Anyways its been a week and every time I talk to Jake online, he mentions how much him and Joe are talking. Apparently Joe has been offering Jake gifts and such and they seem to be talking more than I do with Jake.

I am so pissed cause it seems like Joe is trying to steal Jake from me even though he knows I really liked Jake. Does it seem that way to you too? or am I just crazy?
