I just bought a Rolex for $150

I have joined a private auctioneer's buyer's list. I have bid so much, so often, that I was put onto a 'special' buyer's list and given access to items that aren't sent to general auction.

A man passed away and his wife wanted his things gone ASAP. She didn't want to wait for an auction and so the auctioneer called the members on her list, to which I had just been newly placed on, and to make a long story short, I offered the Auctioneer $100 for a Rolex that the man owned. Total came to just under $150 with fees and taxes. Never thought that I would own a Rolex watch, but for $150, it is well worth it.

Just goes to show you that if you put your mind to something, you can achieve great things. I will no longer bid on 'routine' auction items as this private buyer's access group seems to be even better for getting the best of the best. Sometimes my life sucks - mental illness, ugly, small penis etc. But then sometimes, my life turns around and I win. Very cool.

I will be going to Boston a few days earlier than planned - June 11th - and be gone for another 3 months.

Anyways, I just read a report about a nurse who murdered 8 patients, yet received reference after reference from her past employers.

Just an fyi folks, references don't mean shit. When I was a hiring manager, I never cared about references. I wanted to judge the person in front of me as I exchanged with them. Anyone can hide their past with the right references. Dont be a fool and rely on references.
