I wanna go to a party tonight.. but what do i tell my parents haha im a newbie :)?

Here's the deal.. i'm 15 i've been to lots of parties before but that was last year when my parents went out of town every other weekend! well now they are home and i really wanna go to this party! but its such a huge party, and its most likely gonna get busted. i'm such a goody good and i've never really lied to my parents i just dont know what to tell them or tell them where i am going..

i dont wanna say a friends house, cause if i get caught omg and because i dont drive so theyd have to pick me up the next morning. i really am considering just asking if i could go to a party, and tell them i promise not to drink. but i dunno please help me with excuses or what to tell them if i do tell them i wanna go to a party.

my parents are pretty strict, and we have a good relationship
haha the busted part: okay because i have gotten busted before.. i dont have a record but when i got busted they took me to my friends house which i said were my parents.. well me and that girl arent friends anymore and imagine if i showed up in front of my house in a cop car..... not pretty.

Just ask them if you can go to a friend's party. You don't need to thrown in there that it's a "huge party that will most likely be busted". Be responsible and they'll let you go to other parties in the future

tell them you want to go to your friends party, but say its a small thing. and tell one of your friends to give you a ride there and back. that way they wont know where you are and you arent technically lying!

oh well, if you want to enjoy teenage years,go tell them u going to movie theatre and then ask your friend to pick you up.

Just tell them the truth i used to live with my dad and he never paid attention so i just went to parties and came back the next day and he wouldnt even notice xD. But when i moved to my moms i lied about parties and got super drunk and she found out. She said just to ask instead of lying. If your parents are strict they ll be alot madder finding out you lied to them. just tell them the truth. They might be a bit uneasy about it but they ll still let you go. But ya tell them your not going to drink and you ll be smart about it and you know the usual crap.

sounds like your best option is to just be honest and mention like you said you won't drink and will either be picked up by them or have a sober friend drive you home. I am not sure if they will go for it but the only other option is to lie and chances are high you will get caught.

You won't have a good relationship if you do things behind their back. You get more freedom if you're trustworthy. Promise not to drink and keep the promise. If they still won't let you, get over it. Trust takes a lifetime to get, and seconds to lose. Good luck
