I want to introduce him to my mom but I don't know how...?

I'm 15 years old and a sophomore. I was never honest with my mom about my relationships and hid them, and lied to her just to see my ex boyfriend before when I went out. I feel bad, but I met somebody new. I really like him and we're not officially together yet, but he wants to meet my mom to ask for her permission to make me his girlfriend and to meet his parents. The only problem is that she went through my phone and found out that we were talking before I could tell her and she thinks we had sex, but we haven't. I don't want to lie to her anymore. I want to make things right but I also want to have him meet her because he's genuinely a good guy, and I want to be with him. I know I'm young, but I'm experiencing my first love and I want my mom's approval. My brother is introducing his girlfriend to my mom over winter break and I was wondering how I should approach her about this? She's uneasy when it comes to me and boys, but I really just want to make things right again. How can I ask her to give him a chance to prove her that we aren't having sex and are just in a steady relationship? He just turned 17 and is a junior, so how can we convince her that he isn't what she thought he was on the texts she read and that he's not there for sex? He really isn't. We're both catholic and we do stupid stuff, but we were raised to have the moral of no sex before marriage. I think that's her main reason why she might not want to talk to him. :/

Did she ask if you'd had sex? If not, then you really don't know what she's thinking. Just tell her that there's a guy you like; and he likes you, too. And that he would really like to meet your family. See how how your Mom responds. Don't over think it; just keep it simple.

You're on the right track, to formally introduce your new boy friend to your mother. It's the best way to show her that your relationship is on the up-and-up. De-emphasize the "young love" aspect of it, and convince her that you have a nice, sedate teen-age romance going.

She's worried about the sex thing because all mothers worry about it. She's just more thorough about investigating it. If there was anything the least bit suggestive about your texting, quit that right now. There are much better ways to keep a fellow interested. (In fact, texting in general is far from the best way to keep a relationship going. It often comes across as rude when it wasn't intended to be. Try real conversations instead.)

Look on your situation as a great opportunity to demonstrate to your mother that you've become a lot more aware of the dangers of sexual involvement. Good Catholics don't deliberately place themselves in the way of temptation, and then expect to make a sincere act of contrition when things get out of hand.
