Ideas to bring in people to our massage and wellness office?

I opened a massage and wellness practice in Colorado about 4 months ago, and its still in a slow stage (which is to be expected) but we are needing to get people in the door ASAP.
We are trying to come up with ways to get people in the door and coming back. We have some customers that come in which is good but its not nearly enough people to pay the upcoming bills. So with that being said does anyone have ideas to get people in the door?
We are constantly running specials-our first 2 months we ran a $20 off special. This month we are running a 20% OFF discount but its not exactly getting the attention that we need.

Here are some ideas that we have come up with:
*Modality of the Month-which is where we would discount one type of treatment to bring attention to it.
*Halloween "HallowKidz" Day on the morning of Halloween where there are different things for the kids to do that will be free and in office.
HOWEVER, we are thinking that people are going to be hitting up all kinds of Free Halloween events and never give the place a second thought in the future.

Do you have any opinions or ideas?
The downside that we have is we are in medical condos so we are not in a strip mall or anything so we have to find a creative way to get out to the public since there is not a TON of foot traffic.

Make it look attractive and bright from outside that way it is eye catching.
Maybe give a few leaflets out about the office..Add some posters to the window regarding what people will be letting themselves in for when coming to your massage office...
make sure the outside of this office and inside is clean
put a biggg poster up with the word FREEE on for the halloween idea x

I used to help manage a $12 mil/year store so believe me, this isn't coming from nowhere:

First, create an incentive program for returning customers. Keep a database of customers who are in this incentive program and give them a card of membership. I will refer to this later. Then...

Advertise that you are going to offer one or more of your services for FREE, for a limited time, and "with no obligation to purchase any other service." You might feel like you're wasting time and effort, but believe me, it will work.

You will get a flood of people to respond to this. The very first thing you need to do when they walk in the door is get their personal information. ALL of it. Name, address, phone, e-mail. Give them a form to fill out this information themselves. On the form, have a statement somewhere that says that the customer agrees to receive communications from you and that this is a condition of receiving the free service (the massage, etc.) Now, you can contact that person whenever and however you want with promotions.

Beyond that, explain to them that you are enrolling them "for FREE" in your incentive program and that because of this, the next time they come back, they will get a discount. The discount should be at LEAST 20%. I would recommend a higher discount to make sure they come back the first time. Give them their incentive program card.

When they leave, thank them for coming and tell them you are looking forward to seeing them again sometime soon. Smile. Be gracious. From the time they walk in the door to the time they leave, they should feel that you were the most professional and friendly place they have ever been.

After that, they should be a lifetime customer. If you can get them in twice, they should be lifers. E-mail me if you ever need anything else. Good luck!

How about setting up a pot of herb tea, and putting up a sandwich board inviting people in for a free cup of tea and free 10 minute foot massage? That is if you have sidewalk traffic. How about a referal discount? what about a "girls night out" promotion? Bring 5 freinds and get 20% off?

Thats all I got....I'm in Detroit where 1 out of 3 people is out of work, so we have the same problem here.
