Identity checked at Blue Star?

First let me start this off with...

I am not a neat freak but I do have habits on how I do certain things. I have a particular ways that I arrange my shoes, clothes, etc when I take them off.

Last saturday, I just happened to find myself in the neighborhood, some time free, and very much like to relax abit from too much work)

I stopped by Blue Star. The door girl was fine to me. Well, the first thing that we did after getting undressed was go off to the steam room. She said that she was out of something (didn't hear) so left the room for a moment.
So, I was standing alone with a towel and very bored.
And... looked around, and finally starting peeking over/outside the door to see if she was coming back in the hallway. (and what was going on)

On one look outside, I saw an asian man (young, good muscle tone on arm, black tshirt, blue jeans (I think), watch (black band) on left arm. short hair to just below ear) entering the room that I had undressed.
I thought, no way. I didn't say anything to the girl when she returned but kept a sharp ear out for what was going on in the hallway.

Finally, after the wash and steam, we returned to the room. The session was fine.

Anyways, yes, everything was messed with. Wallet was checked out (cards were pulled and returned), underwear,socks moved that were on the shoes (shoes moved slightly). phone checked out (my phone is locked, but the screen was opened), belt, keys and misc stuff moved around.

However, I do not think any money or items were actually taken.

And, Yes, I am very very sure that all those items were handled.

I just don't know if I should be concerned since they may have just been trying to check me out. I must admit that I will be alot more cautious in the future.

Just my own form of caution. I only take in the necessary $$$ I plan to spend. Wallet, phone etc are left in car hidden well.

Can't be too cautious. Someone I know got money taken out of pants while getting a shower @ Dupond.

I'm with Dilbertgolf. I also take the extra precaution of parking away from the building but within a few minutes walking distance.

I used to hide my stuff in the car too. Until they broke into my car and ransacked the entire car and found my hidden items. This was in front of Smiles. I had the best time of my life with Sue and I came out to find my window broken into and my phone and bag stolen.

I guess it's you pick your poison.

I also only take in the necessary cash. I leave everything else in the trunk so if the car is broken into they can't get to it (my trunk won't open w/o the key being in the ignition).

Oh, and you might want to consider the possibility of identity theft. I would cancel the cards for sure and get replacements. They could still do several things with you DL# and your personal info (name, address, etc.).

Ok, so you expect that one of the staff was up to no good, than, just trying to verify me. He was very thorough going through my wallet. That really sux.

I have never seen any male staff at AMPs, but I don't look for them. I guess, if they are there, then, it is a bouncer. Or, do customers also go to AMPs looking for male providers? (not complaining, I just never thought it from that angle)

Stash bag or box small enough to fit up inside your dash. May sound paranoid I know. I had a buddy in college that liked to do something we are not allowed to discuss here by rule. He had a cubby hole type of area under his dash near the steering wheel. Most thieves are opportunity thieves. They go for the quick score and aren't willing to work too hard to get the goods. If ey weren't lazy, they'd have jobs.

I know that hindsight is always 20/20, but had I been in your shoes, I think I would have followed that guy right into the room. You could have always said "I forgot something". I know you were only wearing a towel, but isn't everyone in those places?

Further to my previous post, like some of the earlier posters, I NEVER take my wallet or anything other than the $ I need for the appointment. I leave my wallet and other valuables locked in the glove box. I know that's still not guarantee that it will be safe, but it's worked for me thus far.

when i leave the house and go play the game, i leave almost everything at home. only take car and house key, hobby phone, TDL, and of course couple benjimens.
and i am in total agreement with MAXXIS, you biggest concern should be your TDL and credit card numbers have been compromised.

I think it goes without saying that all of THX's credit cards need to be cancelled. You can always tell the S/O that you left your wallet in a restaurant or something and that it was returned to you but you are cancelling the cards just to be safe. If you don't take action on this immediately, you are playing with fire!!!

If they go through your personal possession, they either checking to see if you are an LE, or they do not want a repeat business from you.

But that would make me upset. I would have confronted the mamasan or somebody. Most do not want trouble.

I remember several years ago some stolen money rumor and next thing I know, places were giving customers a plastic bag to carry wallet and stuff to the showers.

A VIP (room with a shower facility) will give you more sound mind.

I always just take my wallet into the shower room with me.. set on towel rack. Problem solved.

That is troubling to say the very least. I wrote a review of blue star and this further confirms why i wont go back...I leave all my stuff locked in the car and only go to well established and well review amps.

In many of the AMPs there is a small pouch in the room that will hold valuables and can be taken to the shower room with you. I have seen these at various places, but never used one. For the last few years I have only gone to a few "reputable" AMPs and I am well known at those. I don't worry about it there.

I don't carry large amount of cash. Credit cards are what I would need to guard.

In the past, I had heard of stories on wallet's getting checked out when customers were in the shower/sauna, so I had some expectation that it could happen. I just had always thought it would have been done by the provider for her own safety, and not a bouncer.

At that time, I was more concerned that the girl was going to get in trouble by letting me see their guy go into that room, than what trouble that guy would get in from the boss. (I still am)
