I am a vegan for very many reasons including ethical. However, I realized at the core of my philosophy, technically speaking, this does not cross over to eating eggs from free-roaming, pesticide free, "i love my life" chickens that happen to lay an egg on the ground. All of that aside, if I were to seek out eggs of this nature, should I be slow to begin eating eggs after never having them for over a year? Will my tummy be upset???
Crab Apples: Perhaps, I sound so "mature" because I am 20 years old, still in college and do indeed still participate in the proper colloquial jargon of a woman my age. Last I checked, those participating in the democratic arena that is Yahoo answers, weren't too formal 'round here...
Ben: In regards to, "P.S.If eating a chicken is wrong, isn't eating a chicken that never even had a chance to live also wrong.", please by no means consider my response rude (rudeness is simply unnecessary in any of life's events!) but I must give you a bit of a reproductive lesson. Just as humans, the female chicken species releases an egg incrimentally for it's entire life until no longer fertile. While women do so every month in the form of their period, chickens do a bit more often in the form of an egg. What's wrong about eating a live chicken is because this is a living breathing animal that exists for itself and only itself, not to feed me if I can survive off the fruits, vegetables and various pl
Freeyourself: Please, it's people like you who give vegans a bad name. In essence we're all really about justice, truth, love and happiness for all. Negativity will get you nowhere and all those animals you claim to be helping are not reaping the benefits of your inability to convert masses through patronization.
