Lets say you are video chatting with a person from work and they are somewhere off site - like lets say some place overseas. When they call you or you call them, is it customary to say where you are and who you are with?
For example, if there is someone else in my office with me or traveling with me, and I call someone from work on video chat - should I say that I am this and this place with so and so?
Or do you instead say that only to people who you think may say something out of line or just to warn the person that you are video chatting with?
