If your daughter was a BG?

I was just wondering how BM's may feel if their own daughter was a BG? I ask because I would be interested to know how thia parents accept the profession of their offspring. Does anyone have any ideas or opinions?

SERIOUSLY THOUGH there are no weekly benefit cheques coming through the letmassageplanet.netox in thailand so there are not so many options for a poor family living in issan to survive are there i dont suppose deep down the families are too happy to see there daughters going to service the farang in pattaya/bangkok/phuket but if it means food in there mouths then what is the option .

from my experience, and this only my experience, it may be true the parents are not thrilled to send their daughter off, but they sure get accustomed to that money fast and start to demand it for unnecasary things

I have a daughter of 19, but I can't give you an answer your question. My family's situation is so different to that of a Thai family.

I`ve got two daughters from a thai and for me I wouldn`t like it at all. But that`s my culture and the way I look at it. I would rather starve to dead then to send them of to that kind of work. Then again I approve with Petter what doesnt know doesn`t hurt.

So since I`m married to a thai I asked my wife. And she said NO. She wouldn`t like it all that her kids went working the barscene. But she also said that at a certain age they just don`t want to listen anymore. It`s their life. She also claimed that many girls go to the big city and apply in the last moments for a job like that without the knowledge of the parents or other familymembers. They jsut found the job of their life in the big city and they help the parents with their loans and other things. Everything to help the family in their culture.
Not like with us we are being raised by our parents and we take it for grantet (sorry spelling). Culture do make a difference.

I'm pretty much like you andI dont have the dilema of having to send my daughter over the fence to the big rich farmer to spend 12 hours in a padi field up to my knees in shit for a pittance. However I must say if it was my own daughter I might well prefer that option to her being shagged senseless by the likes of me and you.

As for Scotland I'm not aware of too many daughters being sent away from home to work for landlords but if they did I'm glad that they have stopped that shit now as its not right, I'm sure you agree!!

Your point about the big economic diffrences I totally agree with although I have visited other parts of the world and not come across a bar scene like what they have in Thialand and I think the explanation of not believing in God is no water proof.. I used to trip over people going round those temples so somebody was receiving their prayers bhudda or whoever..

Your last sentence is more adressing what I was hoping to find out.. If they do care for thier children it must be the worst knowing how they earn their money no? I know if it was my daughter I would be wanting to have a chat with whoever was rattling her 1000 bht Lt or less for whort time thats all..

I'm sure that given first and foremost they are human beings they pretty much feel like you.. Being Thia is niether here nor there.. You would not like it, me niether me thinks..

Thailand is most of the times a make belive land...The parents and siblings, may know what the eldest daugther do for a living, but choose to ignore it, since the cash they provide for their family, brings in face in their community.

Either way, i have talked to alot of BG's some say they like the work others dont....but in the end, they need the cash, and with only 4 to 6 years in school, its either the farm or some factory work, which does not pay for their living, and the things they want for themselves and the family.

So respect to them....

If i would like my daugther to go with a man for money ?...well its hard to answer, first i would say NO WAY...but i have never been poor, i have always had a good roof over my head, i have good parents, a good education, and money is not an option for me. But some of these girls come from a background so much more different than our western idealized society, that we will never fully understand their motivations to do what they do.

Firstly I agree this is a silly question as the cultural and "Nanny State" differences are so vast that we (UK) cannot begin to understand the Thai mentality for family and family respondsibility.

But from my experience of talking to my "friend" I'd say she does it with her family's approval as the farm won't sustain the family life and the offspring 2 girls had to leave to Bkk for work then due to failed marriage (no child support etc etc) drifted into prositution to put food in her kids stomachs. I can relate to that in that my "friend" is doing it so her kids can get an education and don't have to do the same thing in 12 to 15 years.

From a UK perspective a former g/f of mine was selling kinky sex (I got it for free) and found it were difficult to get off the routine once on it. If some lawyer is paying you £500 cash for dressing up and ording him about so he would cum over her in the end of session that's a good wage for a few hours. She was using the money to keep her own daughter in a false high £ lifestyle. I couldn't agree that she needed to do this with her and her hubby also holding down full time jobs but as stated the girl quickly got used to £500 extra every week and to cut that off was very very difficult.
