IHM and Reiki

Does anyone else offer IHM and Reiki treatments?

I was just wondering which you do first, IHM or Reiki.

I would be inclinded to do the IHM first as its a little more 'invasive' then givea Reiki afterwards for total relaxation.

I'd appreciate anyones elses views on this.

Hi Spiritalis,

When you say IHM & Reiki treatments, I assume you mean as a combined treatment?

I do both, but not together in one treatment. Mainly because the people that would be interested in IHM are generally more into 'physical' therapy rather than 'spiritual' therapy if that makes sense. If someone asked whether they could have both in one treatment I'd have no problem with that, and yes, I would do the IHM first and then go into the healing.

I do my IHM treatment then finish with Reiki on the head and shoulders. I move my hands from the head up through the aura and quite a few people say they feel like they are being lifted out of whatever sad/depressed feelings they have. Personally, I think it is a nice ending.

When I did my IHM training, we were taught to finish the treatment with 'placing of hands' over the top of the head, the 'third eye', and the throat chakras. We then finish with raking through the aura, around their head, and over their shoulders. I am not trained in Reiki, but have been told by many that when I place my hands, they can feel intense heat coming from them.

I feel it a nice way to finish a relaxing treatment!
