IHM Day

Hi everyone

I just thought I would let you know how the taster day went. I have just got back and I loved it. I can't wait to get more information on this therepy. Although a bit of a hitch when it comes to doing qualifications at the moment, just found out I'm 6 weeks pregnant. BUt will definately do something in the future.

glad you enjoyed the day and prayers for a successful pregnancy....do not let being pregnant stop you from doing any courses, i have done a lot of mine whilst pregnant, there will always be an excuse to put it off after, baby to young, still breastfeeding, nobody to look after, miss them too much...train now and then you can practice around your baby when he/she arrives!!!!

My IHM Diploma arrived from the VTCT this weekend - six months after the end of our course. Better late than never

HI,

Thanks for the words of encouragement. It is partly the cost which will put things on hold, spending money on courses when I have baby stuff to buy hardly seems fair. I did look at the local ITEC course to see if it would fit in but it does not start until September and is 18 weeks long. Allowing for holidays etc that would put the last part of the course right on top of my due date. Never mind I will carry on treating friends and family with what I learnt during the workshop and look forward to better thing later on.

I'd definately take up IHM-I have just completed an intensive 2 day course (there's an advanced follow- up day in sept to enable you to practise) and I really enjoyed it!

Hey, you never know, after you've had the nipper you could take up baby massage!
