Kind of a review. Went to one of my favourite AMPs in Vancouver and saw a new girl. Very, very nice. This establishment has not been raided yet. I checked and found that she is from Beijing (just three months) and in the country legally. Is she being forced to work? She giggled and said "I want to work". She had heard of the raids and was puzzled (aren't we all) by the RCMP making such a fuss over girls here legally and working voluntarily (even quite happily).

So if I do review her and this place, will this just invite the RCMP to raid that one too? Do these guys just read eforum.xxx, develop wierd fantasies about hot asian chicks smuggled in storage containers and locked in dungeons under Swan Lake, and then order a raid?

It reminds me of a fiasco from 30 years ago. The owners of the Penthouse, the Philipponi brothers, were charged with pimping and living off the avails on the theory that several dozen SPs working in their club were in their direct control. [The girls did have rules about not leaving their tables, not overtly soliciting, etc. And the Philiponnis certainly benefitted more from the presence of these very attractive gilrs than from the tired burlesque acts that they booked.]

The end result was over $1,000,000 spent on prosecuting them, no convictions, and the release onto the streets of Vancouver of all the club girls now reduced to street solicitation. The public was outraged at the new presence of prostitution under their noses, whereas it had previously been discretely hidden away in numerous clubs.

Public policy run by morons. I won't be reviewing any of the massage places until the IQ level rises in local law enforcement.

Excellent post resO. How much did this latest fiasco cost the taxpayer
with city wide cops involved in a 8-9 month so called investigation with
IBET at their heels. Probably even more and at what result?

Oh and resO?, if you're waiting for the IQ of these people to change that
will happen when the bible is rewritten once again by themselves. Oh and almost forgot, I won't be writing any
reviews either until these morons learn to distinguish the
difference between girls who are forced to work and those
who are happy too. Why feed more info into something they
completely misunderstand. Better yet, if any of you find
a micro that you know is forcing women to work post it
with full contact info or better yet, call the cops and see
if they even act on it?

Its publicity plain and simple. Like the war on drugs: every couple of weeks we get a big splash in all the media when a couple of million bucks worth of drugs gets taken down. Hero cops all standing around proudly, justifying the multi-million dollar police budgets when everyone knows, especially the cops, that they intercept maybe 5 percent of the trade.

Its all about framing their next go-round for funding at city hall (Vancouver) and Victoria and Ottawa (RCMP).

it's a new game by the same folks who resisted legal sex work in Germany during the soccer games. They are organized and have a zeal for shutting down the sex industry, all in the name of protecting exploited workers. They may have targeted B.C. because of the Olympics. They are spreading their message that all sex work is exploitive. I hope that some organizations speak out and stand up to them.

Some of this thread may be true, but the reality of forced prostitution and sex slavery, especially with illegal aliens, is undeniable. If LE doesn't try to stop it, who will? eforum.xxxerts acting out of concern for helpless women??
