Back pain may seem like an unavoidable part of working in an office or getting older.
However, a massage therapist in Kentucky has shared a simple trick for avoiding a pain that affects more than 130 million Americans.
James Moore posted a video on Instagram this week where he stands with his back facing a wall.
He places one foot on the wall behind him, then places both hands in front of him.
He bends down slightly until his backside is just about to hit the wall.
Mr Moore, who has 2.9 million followers, advises in the post to do the exercise 10 times for three sets.
The caption on the video reads: 'FIX BACK PAIN NOW! This helps engage the hips and low back to help strengthen the posterior chain of muscle that often cause back pain.'
Nearly 40 percent of Americans experience back pain, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
This adds up to more than 130 million.
Some Instagram users said they were looking forward to trying the trick.
A user named lashedbylovelymi said: 'Literally been killing me RIGHT THERE for the past couple days! Thank you!'
Teeloveslife45 said: 'Going to try this now.'
'I'm having this exact pain right now!' a user named 1_fegreen wrote.
User erictalia718 wrote: 'omg u have helped me thru my back pain.'
