laptop and perfumes? So far I have only traveled in the border-less schengen zone and even when going into UK with a train, they only scanned the luggage, I got patted because the metal detector went off (it was the coins, I believe) and that was it. Now I've been reading about the customs and I didn't even realize that for some countries perfumes have to be declared. Why? The alcohol content isn't that high in perfumes. The thing is I'm a perfume enthusiast and I have 6 Guerlain bottles, 30ml (1oz) each and for example, for South Korea the limit is 2oz for personal use.
What do they do if you have more than the limit? What happens when you declare anyway? They register the items? And what about the laptop? It's really all for personal purposes, however I am moving to Cambodia and so I will leave some of the items there, go back, end the renting contract, etc, and go on with life in Cambodia.
