Images for posters and leaflets

Hello

I do not know where to put this post really. Having qualified in Reflexology now and Indian Head massage I am wondering where to get images from for my posters and leaflets. I do have the FHT leaflets for IHM and Reflexology but to print my own posters to put in chemists and local centres and hospitals I need some images. I have searced on google images but I am a little concerned about copyright and wondering which ones I can use and which images I cant use. I am trying to search for royaltyfree images but without success. There are lots of UK websites out there with great pictures of feet where can I get my own or can I use these too and copy!! I have no idea? Can someone please help? Many thanks

Images that you get from the web generally aren't of high enough resolution to print with. iStock has gazillions of quality images for next to nothing (couple of euro)

Hi Thanks for that but it does state in the terms and conditions that I cannot publish these and I need some images that I can put on posters.

You're not allowed to use the images to sell ie you can't brand a t-shirt with an image then sell the t-shirt which is fair enough but you can use the images for brochures, posters cards etc. As long as you pay for the image you can use it royalty free. Many, many designers use this site as a source of images. They just don't tell anyone because they're so cheap.

I use it myself.

I have just bought a CD rom for £9.99 from a very well known PC shop!!! They have loads of images on there! 250,000 of them! I have found what I was looking for.

Don't suppose it had any photos of a pregnant lady on your CD.
I am looking for one to go in an advert and cant find one i like!!
My husband suggested taking a picture of my own belly!!! What a cheek.

Why don't you ask one of your clients to be foot model? In my experience, they are usually happy to do it - anyone else done this?
