Incorporating different techiniques

Since I have moved, I have had an influx of clients seeking more than just a relaxing massage. Clients with chronic low back pain who have been told by their chiro to seek out massage, clients with a busted up scapula that never healed right and they are taking morphine for it, etc... It has been an interesting week!

So, I am throwing around the idea of buy a yacdol from wullstone as well as an inversion table. These are things that no one else in my area has, which would make me stand out above the crowd.

Any other ideas?

When I used to work out of the health food store they had an inversion table... I did try it once when I was in quite a bit of pain (actually was even afraid to get massage from a friend who was there at the time too). The owner of the store talked me into trying it. And amazingly enough... the minute I tilted back, my SI released and I felt quite a bit better! LOL
I don't own one myself of course, but it might be helpful to clients.
How would you charge for it's use though? Or would you just include it's usage as part of your regular fee?

I would probably incorporate it into a session, not sure I would charge more for using it. If I bought the yacdol, I would probably charge an extra $5 though. Maybe even make it an extra $10 and just keep it at that rate for a loooong time.

I have a difficult time charging more for doing less. So.... if a client is on an inversion table as part of their hour, say for 10 minutes... its an extra 10 minutes I can do paperwork, use the restroom, answer the phone... What it probably would do is encourage a few of my 30 minute clients with back trouble to upgrade to an hour, which would net me more that way. But, time being money, I could also just add on 10 minutes of inversion time to their 30 minute session and charge an additional amount as well, say $10. But, if they want 10 minutes less of table time, I would do that as well.
