I turned down opportunities that night as it really is not a safe night. Between all the drunk drivers and the gun fire, I prefer to wait until a day I feel it is safe to work. On top of that most folks, be it guys or chicas want to party with friends on that night, so I am sure the chicas that would be available would be much less than any other night...except New Year's Eve.

I spent some time in the Park eating some at some of the stands. I didn't buy any trinkets. The I headed down to watch El Grito at the old Palacio. Afterward I watched the fire works.

The people were having a great time. Lots of flag waiving and excitement in the air. Lots of cars out cruising, most were filled with people waving flags and having a good (and loud) time. Of yea, lots of horn honking too.

Independence Day is a dead zone for chicas. Called up 2 Agencies and they didn't have the girls I wanted, not alot of BGs at AB or HK, and the SGs were there, but not my type.

Well it's hard to say, as I got to Tijuana about 8:30 PM and spent most of my time in the bars, but did walk around from bar to bar, and didn't see any fireworks, but when I finished the session with my nice young SG it was a little bit after Midnight and I saw a firework show in the sky, but was more concerned about the gun fire in the air that was still going on.

I wanted to beat the other people to the border as I thought it might be busy.

I was in Tijuana last night and it was packed with cars in the streets with people in backs of truck waving the Mexican flag. On Revolution it was jammed packed with people mostly young people and the girls were dressed nice.

The bars on Revolution street were crowded too.

In the zona only Honk Kong was packed with a lot of people. The other bars like BT, and LC which I normally go to weren't that busy, but the smaller were more busy than normal and people were partying inside them.

At midnight they had fireworks going with rockets in the sky, but they also had a lot of bullets being shot up in the sky.

I enjoyed the festive mood and I guess more people came out to celebrate because it's 200 years since 1810 when Mexico won it's Independence

I've only gone on September 15th once. It was just like any other day in TJ but for a very good reason: It was September 15, 2001. I had just flown in on a completely empty commercial jetliner and celebrations in Tjuana were noticably muted. I do recall an impromptu parade of water tanker trucks slowly driving down Revolucion but thats it. I've never spent less money on drinks in my life. Random locals would walk up to us and buy rounds of drinks because of what had happened a few days earlier.

I don’t have plans [for El Grito]. I don’t like to go out [on the night of El Grito] because there are a lot of drunks and sometimes there are gunshots.

Federal decree says there will be no banks, no schools, universities, etc on Friday too.
So many will just opt to stay home, like Sampson says.

The Holiday is actually Thursday, but like on New Year's the party is the night before.

It is a great night to stay home as the level of stupidity is seldom matched. So many car accidents that night that the police response time is often HOURS. I think that many of the chicas would prefer to be at a party as opposed to work, but I am sure it will be far from dead on Coahiula.
