inflammed blood vessels on medial pelvic region

has anyone come across this. On the medial aspect of both feet client has inflammed buldging blood vessel veins (varicose ). The area is very blue due to the predominace of inflammed viens and bruised looking. Client had a hip replaced 2001, denys prostate probs but is taking herbal remedy for prostate. Prostate reflex is tender but nothing dramatic. My intuition is saying this could be from the hip op although both feet are affected. Client used to play lots of football in the past and believe this is the cause. I do not think it is.

Would be much ablidged if anyone has any thoughts
