hey yall if my info is off im sorry but last i heard nuevo-laredo is more or less under martial law. It is defitnitly a shakier place then it always was. their are cartell wars going on and it seems its no holds bared. Im not saying dont go but if you do for sure keep your senses about you stay alert beyond that is up to you. I,ve gone alone a couple of times though i do not reccomend this right now. try to take a group or at least one other person.

I emailed the Laredo Convention & Visitors Website, and they emailed me back with the response reprinted below. I checked out the website they sent me, for info on Nuevo Laredo, and cheap motels with good ac, but unfortunately it's in spanish, and I don't speak spanish, so I couldn't get much out of it. I've heard talk about the Villa Real Motel, Ceasers Palace Motel, in the $40 range. Anybody else here in the group know about cheap motels with good ac in Nuevo Laredo? Any motels close to Boystown? Some mongers here might be interested.
