I was processing some reviews for PA approval this afternoon and was reminded of something that has been bothering me. Sometimes I read some really good reviews that are weakened by the fact that some important bits of info are missing. Some are just omitted and in some cases the writer assumes that everyone knows.
Today I saw:
1. No name of a girl at an AMP. How would I find her?
2. A comment that xxxx looks just like you remember her. ??? I haven't met her.
3. Everybody knows how sexy xxxxx is. ??? I do? Her partner in a 3 way had very little description.
4. Phone number: See AMP listing.
I am not picking on anyone. My point is that when you write a review, you have already spent the $$. You spent a lot of time earning that. You spent time driving to and from. You spent time in the session. You spent time writing a good review. Just a little more time invested and it will be a great review.
The purpose of a review, as I see it, is to provide as much info as possible in one place. It will include factual info plus your personal perceptions. The format is there for a reason. Filling it in will help all.
When info is missing I have been sending PMs to the writers to help them learn and asking for the info so that I could include it. Sometimes this makes the difference in approval or rejection. The problem with that style is that it only makes one person aware, and it takes a lot of time. Just be aware of the format and fill it in. That helps everyone. Thanks.
