I want to buy an infra red lamp as the moxa sticks stink (hard to say ), does anyone know a good brand and a retailer in the UK or Ireland?

Be sure to check out the chinese clay ones, sorry I can't remember where I stumbled onto it. The clay they are made out of have special properties. If I find it I will post it.

Hi Bokken,

Have you tried the smokeless moxa type? It takes a bit longer to light than the smoky one but at least your tretament won't hav ea lingering smell in it for hours afterward.

Thanks for your reply. Yes i have but I still prefer lamps for treatments as the heat genereted gives powerful and quicker results againt kidney deficiency.
I may have found some on Ebay, good old ebay

I think some of them no longer fulfill some sort of regulations (including the Firard II) but this one is all good and works really well.
