Injured motorcyclist

Just saw on news, a motrocyclist with a severe cut on neck was taken to hospital, he lost a lot of blood.

Police say he was cut on neck by what appears to be a fishing line, that was strung up between 2 light standards.

Hope this nutbar gets caught, hopefully street cams have captured his image putting up fishing line.

Years ago I was waterskiing in the Wasaga Beach river and went out past the wake to make the turn and skiied through a fishing line. I was wearing a thick rubber flotation vest and it got me right between the bottom of the vest and my swim shorts. I put my hand down to see what was going on and it burned the edge of my hand. Luckily it was only about 8 lb test monofilament and broke before it cut through me. Needless to say right across my abdomen and on my hand I had a vicious welt/rope burn. It hurt like a motherfucker.

I did take a nasty wipeout and while I was close to shore, the fisherman came over to ask for his lure back......can you believe it? He thought he'd hooked me and his only concern was his lure?

Well, it took the spotter and another buddy to hold me back from tearing the guy a new one......

I can only hope it was a pure accident caused by young kids who did not know any better.

Unless of course the rider was targeted as an asshole for racing up and down the street on his crotch rocket. There's a kid that races up and down our private road on his cr125 motocross bike tearing up the road, riding on private property, without a shirt or helmet and wearing shorts. He's terrorizing an older couple up the road from me. Everyone wants him to stop and have complained to his parents about it and they just tell everyone to F off.....

Many are at the point of doing something like this because the OPP won't do a damn thing. I've talked to 4 residents and they've called to no avail.......

Backing a Hummer over the bike when it is parked would be a better option.

But then there's be witnesses.....(or possible witnesses)......and you'd risk damaging your hummer and not to mention you'd have to actually BUY a hummer lol not a great think even though the prices have plummeted over the years....
