insulated holster...

Darn it!! I wish i acted faster....I found a holster in the Massage&bodywork mag that keeps your oil/lotion bottle warm!! Its actually pretty cool (no pun) as it keeps the bottle warm right on your hip. there is a holster thats acts as an insulator and then theres the ones that works with a battery operated heating pack...! The company is called "Hot strokes", so check it out guys and let me know what you think about my original idea...ha ha! :idea: :wink:

Very cool concept, so cool I ordered one today. Just like the ideal of having warm lotion or warm oil when I work on people. I talked to the owner and she was very patient and personable in explaining the product to me.

I'll write up a review once I get it and use it for a week or so.

Iwould say the holsterfor me wasworth it. I often use it especially with oils. Its especially helpful if you use a full pump stroke of oil,comes out nice and warm. I've had several clients comment on how good the warm oil feels

That being said if you use short little quarter or half stroke pump of oil, not a full stroke, the oil doesn't come out as warm because the oil in the upper part of the tube doesn't get hot, because its insulated by the plastic pick up tube.

so in the end result its particularly cool for applying oil to large areas of the the body especially the back. Less impressive say for the forearms where u don't use as much oil.
