Not to worry, all the insurance companies are now working on a joint Green List of "Approved Happiness Providers". Watch for it. Yours truly Albertaman is working diligently testing out massages (for therapeutic quality) and various teasing and release techniques (for improvements in long term health indicators). It's a Herculean task but I am at it 24/7 without any breaks. With any luck, all political parties, UCP or NDP will support a provincial program and then gain the support of the Feds to go national. The potential savings to healthcare spendings in mental health care, reductions in prostate cancer etc are just the tip of the iceberg. Stay tuned. In the meantime if you believe in a better society, lobby with your MLA and MP for these progressive moves. Got to support what you believe in.

Not sure if we can truly help, I have two insurance providers and their lists are different. Even though I never uses my insurance benefits on semi-legit massages, I still monitor the lists. I think the only thing you can do is to read the reviews here and cross reference to providers listed on your specific list. The problem is that some of the providers on the lists are individuals (not spas) with their real names listed, this is actually the case of my former legit masseuse, she direct bills my insurance under her personal name and not the spa. We (and I stress) should never disclose a provider's real name here. Finally, of all of the places I visited, whether I need insurance receipt and which insurance provider is always among the first question asked by the spa, if you are wondering, just ask them; if they can't provide a receipt for your insurance provider, a reputable spa will always tell you. If anyone does provide you with a bogus receipt, that, you should share here so the rest of us can learn and thank you for toftt. My two cents only.

I'm not on sunlife but I can suggest digging deep and doing the extra work by cross referencing and reading between the lines in some reviews...you are fairly new and people might have trouble sharing information with you

@Spies101 which insurance? You should be able to look up on allowed and not allowed RMTs in the insurance app or site.

YEARS ago when I had benefits . SinLife had a list of recommended providers. By years I mean 5 years ago
I found a couple of semi legit ones. Paid for the massage with a receipt and a CASH tip. I kept my mouth shut
Eventually they started to disappear.
