Kind of a funny story:My friend was interviewed for City Business, a local free paper here in the city. She had a nice discussion with the interviewer, and went off-topic a few times, talking about how the practice must have been meant to be, and how much of what she had in her office was free or found on the roadside. She like to have DIED when she read the article, and the interviewer QUOTED her saying how she found her furniture on the side of the road...LOL! Every client she has had that came in as a result of that article has commented, "Oh; it doesn't LOOK like you found your furniture on the side of the road." LOL...The advice here is to know what to keep to yourself. I wouldn't divulge anything you don't want in print. Depending on what the objective of the interview is, good things to mention are how you got started in your business, what your services are, your special qualifications and knowledge that sets you apart from other therapists, your hours of operation, etc. I would not discuss prices at all. If you are aware that photographs might be taken, get your office in ship-shape and look your very best. Hope this helps... Good Luck!
