Introducing a new baby to our dog?

We got our GSD x dog as a puppy, almost 2 years ago when our first son was 18 months old, now I am due in 3 months and I am wondering the best way to introduce the baby to her. I started being home a lot more since I was in school when first got pregnant and now I am running 2 business's out of my home and the dog has been getting a lot of one - on - one attention.
People have suggested getting a doll and to start carrying it around now to help her adjust, but on a complete other side people have suggested to stop spending so much time with her and focus more on myself.

Well, it's not best to introduce babies at a young age, to such a hyper breed of dog (I own two GSD's), but the best way would be to slowly bring the dog over on a leash, and most deffinatley watch the two of them. Maybe have the baby in your lap and have your boyfriend or husband hold the dog back slightly, just enough to sniff the baby. If he seems aggressive towards the baby, then just say no and try again later. If he seems friendly then try to let the dog have more leash so he can interact with the baby some more.Hope this helps! But remember, even if he seems friendly, always watch a baby and a dog at all times. Even if the dog is friendly, he may be too rough while playing. He may not understand that the baby is very delicate and precious.
