Introducing Joe/Robin, HD's Gunslinger character, what do you think about this

addition to the family? Juice and Lucy don't really trust other women,
or men for that matter. Maybe they have their reasons;
but in one newfound friend, they did give in.

There is something so enigmatic about Joe/Robin.
It is more akin to yin and yang equalization
than gender confusion. It is not a hormone problem.

Juice met Joe in the stable, whispering to Suede;
who whinnied back like they were telling secret anecdotes,
and through the horse, who knew people, a friendship was made.

Lucy met Robin in the Ladies Powder room at the Gold Dig bar
Helped her get a blood stain out of her shirtsleeve, no questions asked.
They didn't need to shake hands to seal that deal. That's how friends are.

"I want you to meet this guy," says Juice to Lucy, and Lucy said back,
"Sure, and I see you met Robin, what a great gal!" Juice's confusion was priceless.
After explanations."Guess I still don't know JACK!" and three girls laughed.

Yin and yang?

I'm a tad confused. Robin is a female, right? Joe is a male, right? Two characters, one character?

Like Jeffrey MacNeill, I'd like to get my facts straight. (Pun not intended.)

Sassy Susie with her friend Slither pushed through the crowd. "What's so durn funny? Y'all know I'm in for the game."

Slither cleared his throat. Sassy Sue said, "Hey, this here's Slither and his brother'll be along soon as he ties up them thar horses. You gals know you can count on me for the guys ... anywhere, any time, any..."

Slinky arrived. He tipped his hat, leaned against the wooden post and set his spurs to spinning. He didn't say a word, but he was understood.

They knew Joe/Robin and always had a good time together. And now there were a bevy a beauties with guns and songs and fiddles; life don't get no sweeter!"

Joe Robin is way cool, and no fool
I knew pretty quick that wasn't an ego puffed chest.
Sometimes anonymity is a great tool

I think I think a reputation comes and lingers
and it's good to know there's a third
with lightning in the trigger finger
