Introducing leopard geckos?

I have a leopard gecko thats about 2 and a half month..growing great. I cant really tell if hes a he or a she yet..it kinda of has the bulge but no pores? not sure. any way yesterday we bought a new leo the owner said she was about 3 weeks old maybe a month....she is very tiny i did the flash light thing so im pretty sure she is a she lol (its too late to do the flash light thing to the other one and too soon to sex) so we put them together out side of the tank and they were fine and then we put them together in the tank and they seemed to be fine...but this morning i saw the older one lunge at the little guy so i seperated them and figured i should probably do some research

so what should i do to re-introduce them??

Leopard geckos will fight alot. My uncle had 2 leopard geckos. One male one female and whenever they were out of the tank they were fine. When they were in the tank they fought. So I would suggest putting them in different tanks. But they fought for territorial reasons like 2 males would except they were male and female. But I would suggest just putting them into different tanks.
OR
They were mating.
