Introducing Male Guinea Pigs?

I have an 11 week old male piggy(Gilbert).My other one is almost an adult (Deliloh). When they meet each other, how will i know when it's time to house them together? And how will i know if they like each other?

Introduce them first with their cages next to each other so they see each other. Then introduce them out of the cage. Have a spray water bottle by just in case they start to fight which can be common with males. The water will shock them so they stop fighting.

I would recommend getting a new cage because if you put your new guinea pig into the other guinea pigs cage, the older one may get terretorial of his space and this could cause problems. If they don't like each other you will know because they will hiss or fight.

if u put a baby guinea pig with a adult they might fight at first
wait until the baby is about 6 months
if they are both boys then they will try to kill each other at all
times females and females are fine and and female and male
will be fine too but they will try to mate!
so do NOT put to males in together!

Well, the best way is allow them to meet outside Deliloh's cage. If you put Gilbert in the cage right away, your older one will get very angry and feel like his space is being invaded.

Put them next to each other in their cages and let them play on the floor together. Some behaviors will be normal like rumble strutting and mounting. It is a way to assert dominance.

If they start biting and really fighting each other they should be kept seperate. It can take up to 9 months to see if two males will stay together peacefully so it might be a little difficult to introduce them.
