We recently lost our two dogs due to old age, we just got 2 puppies. My cats did great with the other dogs, but now they refuse to come downstairs. I have a gate on the steps, so the dogs don't go upstairs, and I crate the dogs at night. I was hoping the cats would come to the steps and see the dogs or come down at night while the dogs were in the crate, but that is not happening. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the cats to come down?
