I know that breastfed babies rarely get constipated, but they can go long periods of time without pooping. Our little guy has been going a week at a time without and it is obvious that his tummy hurts and he has a LOT of gas. I know prune juice can help but what are the rules for diluting it and whether or not it will help a 4 month old in this situation?
I appreciate the advice, since I asked for it, but I don't need to be told to call my pediatrician. I realize she knows my child best. The office is closed until Monday and the doctor has mentioned the idea of prune juice in the past. I have found very reliable answers online and I'm fairly confident that I can weed through the bad answers, but thanks for your concern. Next time though, try answering the question or go on to the next.
