My little one tried eggs for the first time this week. Typically I will give her a food for 4-5 days when introducing something new. She's dairy and soy intolerant and I'm trying to figure out if eggs is on the list as well. If she's exhibiting signs of intolerance by day 3 (she hasn't had any eggs yet today) should I just stop or go through the full 4-5 days?
My first kid didn't react to anything and this one seems to react to everything so it's new to me!
I'm doing eggs at the advice of my pediatrician. According to the research, although eggs are an allergenic food, there is nothing recommending delaying introduction of them. (like wheat, citrus, peanuts, etc.)
And she's not allergic. I've already had her blood tested and she has no true food allergies. They are intolerances. I was asking because I heard that introducing something once and then removing it could cause issues later on. (No need to be snarky on honest questions. Geesh)
